Feather is just an interface change, nothing to install compared to a Beta software than runs on a PC when installed. If there’s something that I would want YouTube to do, that is to create a software/application that can be downloaded on a computer and will function to speed up video loading, viewing and uploading regardless of the internet connection type a user has instead using third party apps to do the job which seldom works.

I always assume that my readers follow what they think and believe is good for them. If they think I’m wrong or they won’t agree, so be it.

Betas won’t take flight if there’s nobody willing to try it out. I guess I’m just too sooner to adopt things but I can’t sustain this tech blog if I wouldn’t be an early bird.

Feather Beta is a development in the way YouTube videos are rendered in HD, it’s not something that would hurt to try. Like what I’ve said in the post, it’s easy to opt-in and opt-out and it doesn’t even require you to sign in to do it. At the moment, I’m not seeing Feather as a great promise but was hoping it could improve.

Beta? Oh no, I stay away from betas as much as I can. I'd rather wait for the final release of the feather before I decide to pluck it. At the office, our speed is fast enough to allow us to watch in real time. At home, however, I can watch a whole episode of Smallville before a 10-minute youtube video is ready for viewing.
