Relive Michael Jackson songs through embed Flash Players

We all know that the entertainment world is currently lamenting on Michael Jackson’s passing. The news for most fans at first was not very easy to believe (like I do) and accepting it may take some time to heal, reliving his memories through his music is one of the best things to commemorate about him.

While this post is not really intended to be emotional or opinionated, I’ll just have you read this post, “Remembering (the late) Michael Jackson“ for your emotional and reminiscing pleasure.

At the time of writing, iTunes is flooded with tons of downloads of the greatest hits album and other songs of the late Michael Jackson. More than iTunes, social music sites at the moment are experiencing heavy mass of traffic. A few minutes ago, I visited www.myflashfetish.com, a social music site of which I have an account to search for Michael Jackson songs to compile on a playlist. Even before having completed a playlist, the page got stuck so I had to force refresh (CTRL+F5) the page several times.

Though I know how to actually grab songs from www.imeem.com on mp3 format, I still intended to just have a playlist embed into a webpage. Most social music sites have the option to select a playlist and embed them into a webpage like this site, social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, hi5, and many others.

Embeding a flash player (similar to a widget) is as simple as copy and pasting a piece of code like the ones below:

<img style=”visibility: hidden; width: 0px; height: 0px;” src=”http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire<p style=”visibility:visible;”><object width=”219″ height=”35″ <param name=”wmode” value=”transparent” /><param name=”quality” value=”high” /></object>

Here’s how this code looks like:

Social Music websites specify each snippet codes for usability on various social media platform so you can’t be lost on which snippet code works best for you.

If you’re using WordPress on a self-hosted site, you can use a similar snippet above. It’s obvious that a lot of us love and idolize the King of Pop for his music and talent, why not relive his music and his memories through flash widgets on our site? I’m certain that there wouldn’t be any dull moment.

P.S.
The flash player above is embed from www.myflashfetish.com and is playable with songs from Michael Jackson’s greatest hits such as Thriller, Ben, Man in the Mirror, and many more.
