If We Start Winamp when the Local Area Network is Disconnected or Disabled then It Starts Fine and further we can Also Start our Network.
But when Network is Connected and Winamp is Started then It CRASHES EACH AND EVERY TIME....

Why DFX DEVELOPERS Not Removing this BUG Since DFX 9.0 onwards...

Hi Paul,
I did sent you an email just today but this post was from a while back. I never had the chance of updating this post because I never reverted back to Winamp 5 instead I settled with Windows Media Player 9 and never had a problem with it ever since.

However, I cannot come up with a new post or have this one updated unless I get the chance of using Winamp again. I was just worried of any trouble that might happen like in the past wherein installing Winamp caused me my Windows Media Player from not working due to some missing registry entries and I was forced to reinstall Windows to rectify it.

Your message however fulfills the need for an answer regarding the incident cited on the post. Thank you for the heads up. I appreciate it.

Mathdelane-

I know your blog post was a while ago, but I just ran across it today. My name is Paul Titchener, I'm with www.fxsound.com, the company that makes the DFX plug-ins.

We did have some problems on some machines with DFX and Winamp 5 but those problems have been resolved. The latest version of DFX from www.fxsound.com should work fine with Winamp, please post back if you have any additional problems.
