@James,
I'm not really an expert in this field but I'll do some further readings specific to your case and I'll see what I could find then I'll let you know.

Math, you never know what I'm going through this past few days. You see, I stand as some sort of 'IT guy' for my boss' start up call center (has only 15 voice agents for now). Presently, the call center is using the setup handed by our current US client. Now, the boss is planning on expanding further and has assigned me to do a research on VOIP systems and find the cheapest setup. Thing is, everything about VOIP is a blank wall to me. I don't know a single thing about it. I bumped into this Zoiper softphone application but is blind as to where to find a 'provider' that would make it run for a call center setup. Now, my boss is planning to start off with Skype temporarily. To make Skype work in a call center setting we needed something like this PrettyMay application. This is where I am at this point and am still researching further.

Thanks for your 'further reading' links. I'll be reading these posts later. Looks like you are 'in the know' in these matters. If you have some other sources of information along the lines of my specific issue, please make a post about it. I'm pretty sure, I'm not the only one having this dilemma right now :) Thanks again Math.
