December 2008 – Blog was established under domain name Freestuffzfanatico.blogspot.com as a freeware download site.
February 8, 2009 – Migrated to the WordPress platform (self-hosted) under domain name now known as SoftwareCritics.info. Topics had become more focused on software reviews, technology news, and the internet.
April 2009 – Finally gained momentum through improved traffic and increasing advertisers.
September 23, 2009 – Became a Finalist for Best Technology Blog for 2009 at the 3rd Philippine Blog Awards.
November 2010 – Another nomination for Best Technology Blog for 2010 at the 4th Philippine Blog Awards.

Software Critics is a blog with particular focus on software reviews and timely computer tips and tricks with an eye for the latest technology news and trends, relevant web applications, and an insightful view of start-up businesses including social media.

Who maintains this blog?
Software Critics is owned and edited by M. Matilla also known as Mathdelane, a Filipino Chemical Engineering graduate based in Florida, United States, who has passion for computer software, technology and the Internet.
Mathdelane has worked in the Quality Assurance laboratories of notable food manufacturing companies and has served most of the leading BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) corporations in the Philippines.
He’s currently into WordPress Website development and deployment, SEO, SMM, and SEM as a freelancer. He’s helped many internet professionals, start-ups and companies using his simple and practical skills and experience acquired by working online over the years.
You can find him cooking and baking when his not busy playing on the XBOX 360 or taking still photos from his camera. He founded TripLocale, a travel website with an integrated blog which aims to empower people to travel.
